Your goals are unique. Helping you achieve them is our passion. Let’s get there together.
Whether you want to be more confident transferring from your bed to your favorite chair, or you are training for the Paralympic games, OPC will design and build a customized device to fit your needs.
All our prosthetic devices are made in OPC’s state-of-the-art fabrication facilities using the most advanced tools in the industry. Our highly trained clinicians and technicians combine 3D optical scanners, computer design software, digital carvers, and 3D printers to maximize the fit and function of your prosthesis.
OPC’s mission is to raise the quality of prosthetic and orthotic care for all patients. To achieve this, we have stringent quality control measures in place to ensure you receive the best clinical care, prosthetic device, and patient experience possible.
Transportation challenges should not prevent you from receiving the quality care you deserve. Whether it’s for a consultation, prosthetic fitting, or a follow-up appointment, we will come to you or schedule an Uber Health pick-up and drop-off through OPC.
All consultations, follow-up appointments, visits with our amputee peer advocates, house calls, and Uber Health rides are free to our patients.
We know how valuable a support network is for our amputee patients and are committed to being part of yours. In addition to our compassionate and dedicated office and clinical staff, OPC’s team of amputee peer advocates are here to share experiences, offer helpful tips and tricks, and lead community support groups.
OPC consists of 24 offices in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama. Family-owned and operated, OPC opened its first center in 1981, and we continue to grow and expand wherever we see the need for quality prosthetic and orthotic care.
OPC is built on the success of our patients and we believe that your needs come first. We strive to provide a seamless and positive experience from the moment you enter our office, offering free consultations to all patients, and to ensure quality and continuity of services, we communicate directly with your healthcare team to customize a unique plan of care.
Our Mission Statement is to raise the quality of prosthetic and orthotic care for all patients.
Our Goal is to provide the best orthotic and prosthetic care to the communities we serve.
Our Practitioners are licensed and board-certified, which requires the highest degree of education and training, ensuring patients receive safe and appropriate care. They work closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists, to customize treatment plans across disciplines, and provide patient care instructional seminars to healthcare professionals to increase knowledge for all those who treat amputees.
Our Facilities are accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC); the most stringent national standard available.
Our Designs enlist the latest in computer aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) to enhance the fit and function of each patient’s prosthesis or orthosis.
Patient Spotlights offer personal stories of our patients as they do what they love.
“Don’t give up, don’t be afraid to try” that’s Melanie’s advice for you. She’s a right, below-knee amputee and a Ft. Myers Derby Girl. You don’t have to stop trying new things or doing fun things just because of a limitation. Take a look at her inspiring story.
